I am new to the fandom so I guess I'll post this.
Chang'e, Guardian of Patience
She's based on the Chinese Moon Goddess, Chang'e.
Why guardian of patience? I'll shorten her story up: Her true love, Hou-Yi got locked up in jail, so she stole two immortality pills so the both of them can take the pills. She broke into his cell and they both of them took the pills and Chang'e started floating up to the moon, but the Jade Emperor, who locked up Hou-Yi for killing 8 of his children, pulled Hou-Yi down and instead pushed him towards the sun. Now here's the reason I chose patience: Each year for the Lunar Festival the Jade Emperor gets drunk and falls asleep, allowing the sun to let Hou-Yi off to spend one week of the year with Chang'e, so she sits there patiently, waiting for Hou-Yi to come to her once again.
Companions: Jade Rabbit (A rabbit on the moon, you can look up the Moon Hare to see what it looks like if you want), The Man In The Moon (Possibly), Talking Stars (I made these up)
Abilities: Light Manipulation (Because of moonlight), And I'd like to imagine that if she gets angry she can cause a meteor shower (Idk it just sounds cool)
