Penelope is the Guardian of Courage. She is the only and oldest daughter of the Greek hero Hercules and his wife Meg. She is roleplayed by Winter Fairy.
About her
Penelope is an athletic and tomboyish girl. She loves adventure and the great outdoors. She always practices her archery anywhere, whether indoors or outdoors. She loves to play outside with her dad, though she had a somewhat strained relationship with her mother, though they loved each other dearly. She fights in wars and battles with her father and even helped him with his Ten Labors. Penelope is strong, brave and courageous, but is kind and affectionate, especially towards her pet falcon, Achilles.
History
Penelope was born about sixteen years before Hercules had to perform his Ten Labors after the murder of his wife and their sons. In order to save Hercules from the wrath of the Gods, she helped her father to perform his tasks to atone for his actions.
Penelope and her father went to see the Oracle of Delphi who told them that they must serve her father's cousin, King Eurystheus for ten years and perform any tasks he is asked to do. Though Hercules was reluctant to do this, Penelope managed to convince her father that they had to do this or face the wrath of Zeus.
These tasks proved to be difficult, with them needing to defeat several monsters and capture other things beyond reach to complete them, with them needing to rely on each other for support and strength. Any normal girl would have given up, but Penelope proved to be firm in her decision to help her dad and set things right. Her dad tried to make her change her mind about helping him, due to his fear of her safety, but she remained by his side the whole time. She found her bow-and-arrows during one of the tasks, and used it to defeat the Lernaean Hydra.
MiM saw that Penelope was the right person to be chosen as a Guardian due to her extreme courage. Therefore, he decided to choose her as his new Guardian of Courage.
